Taylor Swift’s album, folklore, picked me up off the floor, wiped my tears away and inspired me during the pandemic and my 22nd year. The lead single, cardigan, inspired this informational zine. I thought it would be a great piece of promotional material for the single. I wanted to explore the history of the cardigan up until Taylor’s album release and include some other information about cardigans. I played with texture and markmaking and illustration.&#38;nbsp;The song feels like that end of summer, first chill of fall when you break out your favorite sweatshirt or cardigan and bundle up with a sketchbook and a glass of wine and I wanted to translate that into this piece.&#38;nbsp;

This project is an homage to my favorite album of all time, Golden Hour by Kacey Musgraves. It’s an ethereal country album with a cosmic pop twist. I was inspired by her style, the lyrics and my own memories that have this album playing in the background. I chose to incorporate colors from the original album cover to tie the two together. I wanted my rework to be whimsical and surreal yet have a handmade feel to highlight the albums country roots. 

This album has changed my perspective on the world, given me hope for the future and touched my life in ways that I never imagined music could.&#38;nbsp;To me, listening to this album feels like when the tears finally stop, a sunburn on a summer day, a hug from your best friend, a sunset on a drive home, and the magic of a first love. I want this artwork to be a love letter of sorts to Golden Hour and the moments I’ve found comfort within it.

This is a prospecting box and marketing piece I created for City Paper and Mercedes Benz. I photographed all the products, designed the marketing booklet and box that was sent to the Mercedes Benz headquarters. I used the Mercedes Benz brand guide and a few of their vehicle brochures to come up with the design aspects.&#38;nbsp;

This is a prospecting presentation I completed for City Paper and Spanx for Mother’s Day 2021. I created all products shown, each collage, a spotify playlist and the presentation itself. We wanted to appeal to older moms, younger moms and the young influencer so I created a collage that I felt best suited each of these consumers aesthetics while still keeping Spanx’s branding in the mix.&#38;nbsp;

This project is imaginary Japanese food packaging for McDonald’s. It is inspired by Kawaii culture in Japan. Kawaii roughly translates to cute in English and is all about everything and anything that is adorable. This includes fashion, characters, toys and in this project, packaging! I’ve made a shrimp tempura box, an onigiri box and a juice box.

For this project I made my own type face inspired by a portmanteau. A portmanteau is a word blending the sounds and combining the meanings of two others. I chose the word glamp. It is the combination of glamour and camp. I chose to use the fashion definition of camp. When I think of the word glamp, my mind immediately goes to the queen of country music, Dolly Parton. I was inspired by her upscale glittery take on country western fashion. This booklet is a tastefully tacky breakdown of my typeface.

	Supernova Rodeo is an imaginary restaurant on a far away planet that humans have populated after the Earth has become uninhabitable. They are inspired by earthen things specifically country western culture and space travel. The menu is inspired by traditional cowboy meals with a southern twist.

	Music has always been one of my remedies, to know someone else out there feels the same way as you do is so healing. When you find an artist or a song that validates your feelings, makes you feel alive, changes your perspective, and makes you roll the windows down they tend to become the soundtrack of your life at that moment in time. This series is an homage to those moments in my life and the artists whose music was put on repeat.
