^{Taylor Swift’s album, folklore, picked me up off the floor, wiped my tears away and inspired me during the pandemic and my 22nd year. The lead single, cardigan, inspired this informational zine. I thought it would be a great piece of promotional material for the single. I wanted to explore the history of the cardigan up until Taylor’s album release and include some other information about cardigans. I played with texture and markmaking and illustration. The song feels like that end of summer, first chill of fall when you break out your favorite sweatshirt or cardigan and bundle up with a sketchbook and a glass of wine and I wanted to translate that into this piece.}
