GLAMP!

For this project I made my own type face inspired by a portmanteau. A portmanteau is a word blending the sounds and combining the meanings of two others. I chose the word glamp. It is the combination of glamour and camp. I chose to use the fashion definition of camp. When I think of the word glamp, my mind immediately goes to the queen of country music, Dolly Parton. I was inspired by her upscale glittery take on country western fashion. This booklet is a tastefully tacky breakdown of my typeface.
